J. Mark McVey
made his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" after
winning the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Actor while on tour.
He returned to the role of Jean Valjean for the 25th Anniversary
Tour of Les Miserables where he received more awards including the
Ovation Award for Outstanding Actor and has now eclipsed
performances. Mr. McVey made his Carnegie Hall Debut in April '97.
2003, he made his PBS debut with the Boston Pops. This was
followed by a PBS Christmas Special for the US Military Troupes
where he was featured with the late Marvin Hamlisch and the National
Marimack Productions, Inc.
